i'm daisy!
I'm a self taught graphic designer & illustrator turned
*for real* taught programmer and UX/UI researcher!
I grew up in Southern California, surrounded by vibrant community and a mesh of cultures.
I took to the arts almost as soon as I'd learned to draw and have spent most of my time since drawing too close to a page.
I wear blue-light filtered glasses now.
For my undergrad, I pursued a degree in tech. STEM. and Tech were always something I'd been interested in, but never had the opportunity to explore- so when I was able to get the chance I figured why not and dove headfirst into pursuing a degree in Software Engineering.
I used to feel torn between my curiosity for tech and my love for creativity and art going into school. I was very frustrated by the rigidity of my discipline, and the seeming lack of creativity and self expression. It discouraged me, and I struggled.
I'd started to feel out of my depth- and then I began to program creatively ★ ⋆ ˚。𖦹 ⋆。°
Finding creative digital spaces like neocities, and discovering creative programmers, game developers, and engineers rekindled my love developing, designing, and more importantly- making.
Since then I've dedicated myself to designing for inclusion, connectivity, and delight.
I graduated from Chapman University with my B.S. in Software Engineering in the Spring of 2025- since then I've worked various roles in the product space, ranging from roles in UX/UI, Graphic Design, Illustration, UX Research, UI Design, and Product Design. I love what I do and i'm beyond excited for what is to come.
For fun I experiment with doing my nails, make digital art, dabble in photography, junk journal, read a bunch, and skate.
